| | Richmond County Jail Inmate Propery Rules
Inmates can receive undergarments within the first 24 hours of incarceration. Thereafter, they are ONLY taken in on Saturdays and Sundays between the hours of 8am and 4pm.
The items are to be WHITE in color - NO OTHER COLORS ARE ALLOWED.
Items allowed are:
-- 3 tee shirts
-- 3 underwear (boxers or briefs)
-- 3 pair of socks
-- 1 pair of long johns (which consist of top & bottom)
No other items are allowed.
Bibles are given to inmates upon request by the inmate from the inside.
Inmates are allowed to receive $40 each week. The week begins on Sunday and ends on Saturday. You must be on the inmate's Visitation List (which is filled out upon the inmate's entrance to jail) AND you must have a picture ID to leave the money. You may send Money Orders through the mail but your name must be on the inmate's Visitation List.
